Come in and learn how to cut all of your embroidery applique on your Scan N Cut! This class is going to go over how to use a PES file on your Scan N Cut. We will be going over what embroidery files work best, how to prepare fabric and what mats and blades to use. At the end of the class you will have a finished Birthday Wall Hanging.
In this class, you will learn:
- How to use a PES file to cut applique on your Scan N Cut
- Cut speed
- Changing between the blade holder and pen holder
- Loading and Unloading mats
- The difference between standard blade and thin blade
- How to cut different types of material
- How to prepare fabric for cutting with the Scan N Cut
- Steps for Applique with embroidery
Class cost includes design & fabric kitThis class is not a get to know your scan n cut class. Make sure you are familiar with your icons and functionality of the machine before taking this class.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to set up, and be prepared to start immediately at the designated time. All classes start at the designated time and begin wrapping up ten minutes prior to the scheduled end to class. Late arrivals are accommodated up to ten minutes after a class commences. No guarantee for accommodation is made for arrivals later than ten minutes.
Cancellation Policy: Class fees are required at the time of registration to hold your place. Because we must ensure that teachers are compensated for class time, there are no refunds for cancellations. You may receive store credit when you cancel within 72 hours of the scheduled class , if we can fill your place from the waiting list. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to under enrollment or weather, at which time a refund or store credit will be issued. A1 will do its best to notify students of a cancellation at least 3 days prior to the class date. There are absolutely no refunds or compensation for no-shows.

Must own a Scan N Cut 225 DX or Scan N Cut 230 DX (This class can be done on a 650 WX but it will be more challenging)
