1 jelly roll or 38 2 ½” X WOF strips We have several fun ones in the store. Search by Jelly Roll

In addition you will need 1 3/4yd. Complimentary fabric for your inside pocket, top binding and handles. Cut: 2 strips 6.5” X 22 for binding, 2 rectangles 16.5” X 32.5” for pockets and 4 strips 2.5” X WOF for handles.

Batting:CLICK HERE I will be using Pellon. I stitched according to the pattern directions and you will need at least 1 50 yd. roll. I would get an additional 25 yd roll. I only needed 36 strips to make the size requirement, not 38 strips. But plan accordingly.

Thread to compliment your jelly roll. Start with a new spool. I used almost a full spool of Tutti.

Thick thread. This will be used to gather the top or your bag before attaching the binding. You will also use it to sew on your buttons. I used Wonderfil Razzle. It’s soft and strong so it won’t break. We have a wide selection of colors on clearance.
