It's all about patches in this class! Both Brother and Babylock Embroidery Machines including multineedle are welcome in this class. You should have Design Center/IQ Designer on your machine. You should have familiarity with the Design Center/IQ Design program on your machine. Design Center/IQ Designer makes it easy for you to create a base layer of fill stitching to fit most any machine embroidery deisgn making it a quilck way to create a patch! In this class I will be sharing with you one of my not so secret anymore tips: I use a layer of silk organza to act as a base. It creates a soft more flexible patch that is a perfect alternative to a stiff twill.
We will be stitching out 2 patches in this 2.5 hour Zoom class: one using an embroidery design either built into the machine or a design of your choice (must fit in a 5X7 or smaller hoop for class due to time constraints) and creating the patch base for it in Design Center/IQ Designer. The second patch will be a name patch. You can use built in fonts or an embroidery font of your choice. This one we will do on Poly Patch twill using the shield feature or the Shapes feature on your machine.
