Join Karen Bohl as she walks you through stitching out the Hoppy Easter, Save the Date Pillow Panel. She will guide you through all the embroidery, background quilting and buttonholes.

Kimberbell Save the Date Hoppy Easter Pillow Supplies List
- POLY MESH STABILIZER (It calls for HEAVY and LIGHT, I used MED CUTAWAY)
- FUSIBLE BACKING (I used Fusible Fleece on the background fabric and SF101 on all other fabrics except the back piece)
- STICKY-BACK TEAR AWAY STABILIZER
- PAPER TAPE
- SPRAY ADHESIVE (Optional)
- FRAY PREVENTIVE PRODUCT (Fray check) This will be used on the buttonholes.
- THUMBTACKS FLATHEAD (Used on some panels not all)
- IRON
- ROTARY CUTTER AND MAT
- QUILTING RULER (Various sizes) I used a 6x24 and a 2 ½”x12
- Applique/embroidery scissors of your choice
- WATER SOLUBLE/HEAT AWAY PEN
- 5X7 EMBROIDERY HOOP (This hoop will be used to add the button holes)
- 9x14 EMBROIDERY HOOP AND HOOP GRID (This hoop will be used for the background quilting)
- CLEAR BLUE TILES QUILTING DESIGNS FOR SAVE THE DATE. (Sold separately at Kimberbell.com)
- CLEAR BLUE TILES (For optional quilting. We will be using the 8x14 and 6x14 tiles in this sew along) If you do not have the expansion pack for the clear blue tiles, you can use smaller tiles. This will take a little longer to quilt.
- ORANGE POP RULERS (We will be using the 8 ½” x 8 ½” square ruler)
- SEAM RIPPER (For opening the buttonholes)
- BUTTON PRESSER FOOT (Optional). We will be using this foot on the sewing machine to attach the buttons onto the pillow.
- TURNING TOOL
- SPRAY STARCH (Optional)
Fabric
- Have fabric cut as per the instructions. Fabric kits are available at A1 Vacuum and Sewing through this LINK
