FREE YOUTUBE LIVE- Kimberbell Halloween Reimagined Sew Along with Renee Davis DAY 1 - September 17th, 2026. 10:30am-1:30pm PST

Join Renee for the Kimberbell Reimagined Halloween Project. She has split this sew along into 2 parts. Day 1 will be FREE on Youtube, September 17th from 10:30am-1:30pm PST and will cover:  

• Fully review this document as well as the provided spreadsheet.

• Review instructions in Broomhilda’s Bakery and Candy Corn Quilt Shoppe for the designs we’ll be stitching out.

• Prep all fabric for embroidered blocks and pinwheel blocks, including ironing and starching, cutting, and backing with fusible backing (SF 101) as appropriate.  At a minimum, all background pieces need fusible backing.  You should also put fusible backing on any light colored applique fabrics. Do not put fusible backing on the fabric for the pinwheel squares.

• Precut your batting.  The size will vary depending upon your technique.  I will be using Jeanne’s method, which is cutting the batting to size and using spray adhesive, although you may choose to trim in the hoop.  If you plan to trim batting in the hoop, be sure to consult the Kimberbell instructions for size.
