We are going to have some fun with this skill builder! You will have a preclass video on piecing the blocks. We won’t be doing that in class. Here is what we will be doing: we will start out with creating the bee, hive and flower designs in Design Center/IQ designer. We will stitch out the 4 accent designs then move onto creating the quitting background stitching in Design Center/IQ designer. The piece will require that we split the background quilting design to sew in two parts and erase the stitching so it doesn’t sew over the embroidery. We will add binding and for a fun finish we will secure the binding using a decorative stitch on your machine with two strands of thread through the eye of a single needle to create a vintage crazy quilt look.
PRE REQUISITE: You MUST have taken your introductory Design Center/IQ Designer class. You should be familiar with Design Center/IQ Designer and know how to use you camera app for placement!
