The new upgrade for the Stellaire/Altair/Meridian machines added so many new features to your machine! On the sewing side you got new stitches, some hand look stitches and a tapering feature that added a new section and a new set of features. On the embroidery side you got 50 new designs including a new large decorative font and two more built in fonts. Embroidery couching was added including an alphabet section that is actually resizable! A new 2 point positioning feature was added along with a no sew feature, matrix copy and the ability to add stippling, echo quilting and creative stitching around a design. 15 new patterns were added to Design Center/IQ Designer and 3 new sections of line motifs.
The upgrade also came with a magnetic hoop. The hoop will be shown in class but not used. The new Stellaire XJ2 or XE2/Altair 2 or Meridian 2 models have the current upgrade but did not come with the magnetic hoop
