Aveneer/Radiance and Luminaire/Solaris: Zippy Bag 4 Edge to Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine 2/25/26

In this 1/2 day, hands-on class, you will be learning the technique of Edge to Edge quilting using the Amelie Scott Edge-to- Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine Version 2 method or Quiltbroidery as it is commonly referred to.  Using Amelie Scott's Edge to Edge quilting method you will learn how to:

• Determine what size quilts are best used in this process
• Prepare your quilt ‘sandwich’
• Transfer file patterns to your machine
• Create pattern templates
• Calculate start positions
• Determine and stabilize hoop placements
• Stitch designs on your quilt, completing at least 2 1/2 columns including borders

I'll be focusing on the 9.5 x 14 and the 10.5 x 16 hoops.  If you'll be using a different size hoop, please let me know.  I will also be using a built in design on the Luminaire/Solaris, Aveneer/Radiance.  If you don't have one of these machines, you can still take the class.  You'll just be using one of the designs from the Edge to Edge book. I'll be demoing the hoops that come with the machine as well as the  Snap Hoops for ease of rehooping.
