Software 101 is a slow paced basic level class. The following computer skills are required: You must know how to create a folder on your desktop, save to the folder and retrieve from the folder when needed. The instructor is not able to address computer skills during class time.
Session 1 begins with a tour of Layout & Editing. Each session after that explores the features and tools that make magic happen! Throughout the course you will be introduced to the each of the features, then we begin to put the features together to work with exisitng embroidery designs and to create new ones. Each 2 hour session is recorded so you can rewatch it. The private FB group is an integral part of the class. In addition to the class video I will also post video bites describing each feature/tool more in depth. It's your personal forum to ask questions and I will respond, most often with a support video, all accessible whenever you need it.
Requirement: You must have Palette 11 or PE Design 11 Software and you must have it preloaded on your computer.

After you complete this class or if you have completed Software 101, you will be ready for level 2 software class. This 101 software series is a prerequisite for upper level software classes.
Disclaimer:
This is not a basic computer class. You must have basic computer skills, you should be able to create a folder, find the folder, download assignments from your email and understand how to left click and right click. You will need to know how to extract a file.
You must have a personal Facebook Account.
There will be homework for each class session. What you see on your computer screen is not always how it sews out! Learning how to fix a design is also an impportant part of embroidery software.
What you put into this class is what you are going to get out. There is no deadline for finishing your assignments only that you finish them before atempting to register for an advanced software class
If you start this 10 session class you have to complete this class. You will not be allowed to move to another group. You will have access to all of the videos for this specific session and classes.
